Pakistani Recipe

For the pastry

200 g plain flour
large pinch ground turmeric
1-2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp vegetable oil
For the filling

vegetable oil, for frying
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 cm piece fresh root ginger, peeled and chopped
200 g minced lamb
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp cumin seeds
pinches turmeric
½ red chilli, deseeded and chopped
1-2 plum tomatoes
