Savory Coconut Spread

It’s totally organic, raw, vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, low glycemic and loaded with potent enzymes and nutrients. This superfood spread is great on sandwiches, crackers, breads, crudites or even as a salad dressing. It’s a super-fast, super yummy recipe that you can make by hand, without a VitaMix or food processor. Do NOT use to coat a Slip n’ Slide or grease the axles of your car.

1/2 cup virgin raw cocoonut oil, room temperature
1/2 tsp Himalayan crystal salt
1/4 tsp tumeric powder extract
Pinch Holy Basil extract
Pinchful Coconut Palm Sugar
1/8 to 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Mix all ingredients in a glass or wooden bowl with a spoon or whisk until soft and well-incorporated. Use as a savory spread on sandwiches, breads, muffins, crackers or scones. Keep in a glass jar and serve when desired. Lasts up to 12 months if refrigerated.
