Fukagawameshi (深川めし)

Ingredients:

400g Asari Clams, Desanded (14.1 oz) (1 tbsp Salt per 500ml or 2 cups Water)
1 Long Green Onion
½ Aburaage – thin deep-fried tofu
20g Carrot (0.7 oz)

300ml Asari Clam Broth (1.27 cups)
2 tbsp Miso
2 tsp Sake
2 tsp Mirin
1 tsp Sugar
7g Ginger Root, Shredded (1/4 oz)
Nori Seaweed, Shredded
Shichimi – Seven Flavor Chili Powder
300g Steamed Rice (10.6 oz)
