4 eggs
self-raising flour (250g)
cocoa powder (50g)
mulled wine (60ml) – orange, lemon, ginger, cinnamon, clove, star anise
2 heaped tablespoon of ground almonds
handful of chopped stem ginger
handful of candied peel

to decorate

icing sugar
mulled wine (40ml)
toasted almonds
glacé cherries
chocolate coins
