Seaweed Soup with Mussels (홍합미역국)

Ingredients:

1 ounce dried miyeok (20 grams), soaked in cold water for 30 minutes
2 pounds fresh mussels, debearded, rinsed, and drained.
5 clove garlic, minced
2 quarts (8 cups) water
2 tablespoons fish sauce (or Korean soup soy sauce or salt)
2 to 3 teaspoons sesame oil
4 -5 green onions, chopped
salt
